Our story

About Us:

We first met in high school band class, dating for a short time before going our separate ways — only to find each other again a couple years later at the University of Illinois.

What started as a familiar friendship bonding over marching band rehearsals and shared class interests soon grew into something lasting. Now after a decade together filled with several moves, cross-country adventures, a new home, and two beloved dogs, we’re finally tying the knot.

The Proposal:

On a sunny day in Washington, August 2nd 2025, we enjoyed a picnic on the grounds at Chateau Ste Michelle winery. Sitting in their rose garden, we enjoyed wine, snacks, and music — a few of our favorite things. There, Jeremy popped the question, and the rest is history.

We’re excited to share more as we formalize details over the coming year.

When we send out formal invites, we’ll have a lot more here for you. For now, here’s a few things to know as you start to consider your plans.

THE WEDDING

  • Ceremony will start around 4 PM, followed by the reception. The evening will conclude before 11 PM.

  • This will be an adults-only event.

  • This is a Sunday wedding, and we hope you will be able to stay and enjoy the full evening with us!

TRAVEL

  • We will be looking into options for a short welcome event Saturday evening consisting of light bites & refreshments to kick off the weekend.

  • Hotel block info to come for those interested, but there are several hotels within ~10 minute drive in the Woodinville/Redmond area.

  • If you haven’t been to Washington before, there’s so much to explore! We’ll be adding recommendations for what to check out if you’re wanting to make a longer trip out of your travel here.

  • We know not everyone will be able to make it out for our day. We want to share the beauty of our home state with our friends and family, but we completely understand that the trip won’t be possible for all. If you can’t make it, we still feel your love and support and look forward to finding other ways to celebrate with you where we can.
